Power-ST has the experience and ability to 'Train and Assess' your company or personnel capabilities within Major Emergency Management through a choice of 'theoretical' or 'practical' assessments or both.

Major Emergency Management (MEM) training for the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), Ship Master, and Command and Control teams is of vital importance and is often only glanced upon in the level of application of time and adequate resources, equipment and personnel competence that would be needed in a 'worse case scenario'.

It is our shared opinion that an extensive repertoire of Muster and Lifeboat drills does not accommodate or best prepare the complete operation for the potentials associated with an emergency situation or event.

Power-ST recognises that 'combined' training opportunities are rarely undertaken other than in an accredited and purposefully designed training centre, or as part of a scheduled programme within the working environment and only after intense, leadership based MEM training can candidates be assessed for competency with the subsequent assurance in their ability to handle catastrophes on land or at sea. Furthermore, not all Major Emergency Management training is the same. Our skill base of former OIM's, Senior Fire Brigade Officers and ER experts from various industries correlates directly to the position and responsibility of the OIM and Master. Our staff has many years of command and control experience, and more importantly, they have been tested, numerous times, in 'real time' emergencies.

Power-ST has also been involved in the design and development of training centre MEM suites incorporating state of the art facilities that fully train and test the developing capabilities of the delegates.
