Helideck Emergency Response Team Member

Course Overview
The aim of the course is to equip Offshore Helideck Assistants with the knowledge, understanding, and skills required to perform an emergency response team member role in offshore helideck and helicopter emergencies.
Throughout the training, all delegates are individually assessed against a laid out set of standards and a report provided on the assessment outcome.
Course Structure
Delegates are given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the role and responsibilities of an HDA Helideck Emergency Response Team Member and practice responding to a variety of helideck firefighting and non-firefighting emergency scenarios utilizing the range of equipment found in the helideck environment.

Target Audience
Personnel who are currently involved with or are appointed as Helideck Assistants (HDA's) or those required to undertake a certified course in emergency response training in helideck and helicopter emergencies as part of their overall competence requirement.
